Teide Galaxy by Night – Stargazing Experience with Pickup from Northern Tenerife

This version of the evening excursion includes pickup from northern Tenerife and takes you from the greener northern landscape into the high-altitude volcanic surroundings of Teide National Park. The journey leads through the mountains towards the volcanic landscapes around Minas de San José, where the unusual lava formations provide a striking backdrop. The route continues to a panoramic location where you can watch the sunset and, when visibility is good, look out across the sea of clouds. After sunset, the evening continues with dinner. The experience includes a choice of cava or hot chocolate. Once the sky is dark, a specialist guide introduces the stars and constellations visible above Teide. You will learn how to recognise different celestial objects and hear stories and mythology connected with the night sky. The experience lasts approximately seven hours. As the final part of the excursion takes place outdoors after sunset at high altitude, warm clothing and comfortable footwear are recommended.
