Discover two of northern Tenerife's highlights in one full-day experience, combining the historic city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna with a guided hike through the beautiful Las Mercedes area of Anaga Rural Park. The experience begins with a visit to La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage city famous for its historic streets, traditional architecture, churches and attractive squares. There is time to explore the city and experience its distinctive atmosphere before continuing towards the mountains. In Anaga, the guided hiking section takes you through the lush laurel forest of Las Mercedes. The walk lasts approximately 1½–2 hours and includes around 300 metres of ascent and descent. The forest is home to a rich variety of native vegetation and provides a completely different landscape from the historic city. Transportation from southern Tenerife is included, making the experience convenient for guests staying in the main resort areas. Food and drinks are not included, so bringing water and something to eat is recommended.
