Discover the volcanic landscape of Tenerife during an evening excursion that combines mountain scenery, sunset, dinner and stargazing. The route heads into Teide National Park and includes the striking volcanic landscape around Minas de San José. The area is characterised by unusual rock formations, lava landscapes and colours that change considerably as the light begins to fade. A panoramic stop provides the opportunity to watch the sunset from the mountains. When conditions are favourable, you can see the sea of clouds below and enjoy extensive views across the volcanic landscape. This experience includes a choice of cava or hot chocolate. After darkness arrives, a specialist guide introduces the stars and constellations visible that evening. The explanations also cover astronomical stories and mythology, making the observation accessible even to guests without previous knowledge of astronomy. The excursion lasts approximately seven hours. Because the stargazing takes place outdoors at high altitude, warm clothing is recommended.
