Experience Mount Teide at high altitude on an excursion designed for guests who want to get closer to the summit rather than simply visiting the main viewpoints of the national park. After pickup in southern Tenerife, the journey heads into Teide National Park and towards the cable car. The cable car takes you from the lower part of the mountain up towards the La Rambleta area, at approximately 3,555 metres above sea level. From there, the summit route continues on foot. The final section leads towards the highest point of Mount Teide at 3,718 metres, where access is subject to the official regulations and permit requirements for the summit trail. From the upper part of the mountain, the views can extend across Tenerife and towards the neighbouring Canary Islands when visibility is good. The volcanic landscape becomes increasingly rugged as you approach the summit. The excursion lasts approximately seven hours and includes hotel pickup, the cable car ticket and the necessary summit access arrangements according to the documented product. Food and drinks are not included. Because the activity takes place at very high altitude, suitable clothing and footwear are essential. The experience also requires participants to be comfortable with walking at altitude, and access can be affected by weather and mountain conditions.
