La Gomera – Polish Guided Tour from Southern Tenerife

Spend a full day discovering La Gomera, travelling from southern Tenerife by ferry and continuing around the neighbouring island by coach with a Polish-speaking guide. The day begins with the journey to the port and the ferry crossing to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island’s historic capital. Once on La Gomera, the route heads south towards Roque de Agando, an impressive volcanic rock formation created by ancient volcanic activity and erosion. The journey then continues into Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important laurel forests in the Canary Islands. The lush, humid forest provides a striking contrast to the drier volcanic landscapes elsewhere on the island. Lunch is included during the excursion. The tour then continues with a demonstration of Silbo Gomero, the traditional whistled language of La Gomera, which has been passed down through generations. The afternoon includes a visit to Agulo, a picturesque northern village overlooking the Atlantic, before returning to San Sebastián. Here you can see historic landmarks including the Torre del Conde, the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción and the Hermitage of San Sebastián. The day finishes with the ferry journey back to Tenerife. During the crossing, there may be opportunities to see pilot whales or dolphins in the waters between the islands, although wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. The excursion is a full-day experience and includes hotel pickup, bus transportation on La Gomera, the return ferry crossing and lunch. A passport or valid identity document is required for the ferry.
