Explore an ecological cactus plantation in southern Tenerife and discover the story behind Higo Tinto, the distinctive red cactus fruit associated with the island. During the approximately 90-minute guided experience, you’ll walk through the plantation and volcanic landscape, learn about the cultivation of the fruit and visit scenic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding area. The experience also includes a look at Canarian rural traditions and an ethnographic museum, together with audiovisual information about the history of the farm and the cultivation of Higo Tinto. A tasting is included, giving you the opportunity to try fresh cactus fruit and a selection of products made from it. The experience takes place at the farm and transport is not included.
